schtuff - HST, cast iron pan

haven't poste din a while. here's a post. if youre intersted, the hubble spae telescope's been put into safe mode b/c something's wrong with it, they think the main camera, which sucks big time.

I'm seasoning a cast iron pan. i'd been using it atop my heater to help add water to the air since it's so dry in here, but it started rusting. apparently it wasn't properly seasoned. hopefully this'll do the trick.

root canal

I had to have a root canal done this morning. it wasn't as bas as it could'be been, thank goodness! I got a prescription for percocet but dont' think i'll need to use it. I could sell it on the black market! :-P

vacation!

Vacation rocks. I just played through and beat Stubbs the Zombie yesterday evening and this afternoon. Awesome! If you haven't played it, it's a traditional 3rd person shooter game run on the Halo engine with one small twist - you play the zombie!

pea soup!

I made pea soup in my crock pot more-or-less according to this recipe. It is yummy in my tummy. ^_^

Threadless!

If you haven't checked out Threadless yet, do so now! I got the "Planetary Status" shirt a while ago - it has all the planets and the Sun holding hands and smiling behind a velvet rope, and on the other side of the rope is Pluto with a "VOID" stamp on its head and crying. It's so sad and cute. (:( Every time I see it, I just want to burst out giggling or crying, I really can't decide! ):)

sorry for the lack of posts lately. i've ben visting my family in NYC and been quite busy. they actually have DSL now (c/o me for Christmas/Hanukah), so I'm online, just dnt have much to post since i'm so busy and haven't had time to reflect upon it and think.

weather

I've been jonesing for snow, but now that I'm about to go do some laundry, I'm glad it's not! :-P

ugh....

Whenever I stay up too late I always get a sleep deprivation hangover the next day. I was up until 4am, then went to breakfast at 9, then sleept from around noon until 3pm, and I still feel like ass. and I still have some work to do. :( Hoefully tomorrow i'll feel ok for a long drive to go visit my parnents for the holidays.
