Why does it take me even longer to unpack from a trip than it does to pack for one?

Just spent 12 days in Washington DC. Glad to be back home.

Hanging out in DC for a week. Boy are my feet tired.

I'm in Washington DC for 12 days. I brought exactly 12 days worth of clothes, but I didn't count on it being 95º out and going through 2-3 shirts a day!

in NYC for the weekend, visiting family.

Heat wave

It's been so hot here lately, it's quite a drag. Today's merely in the low 80s though, that's really nice. I also got a horrible blister on my foot, but it seems to be getting better slowly.

Watching my boyfriend play Gears of War. Although it's a 3PS rather than FPS, it's still a bit dizzying for me to watch.

Bike ride

I just rode my bike for an hour or so. It was pretty fun, I probably should've worked harder at it though for more exercise benefit.

Summer's always interesting for me - I've lots of free time, but also lots of chores I need to get done to catch up on what I'm behind on. Things like get a checkup, see a dentist, and so on.

Summer

Today I did absolutely nothing at all. It was really great. ^_^ Have I mentioned I love summer?

I had house guests for the entire past week, friends from AZ whom I hadn't seen in two years. It was great to see them.

I actually had Ryan Sohmer, of Least I Could Do fame, bid on ad boxes on my other two sites! Project Wonderful seems to be working well for me.

Spending the weekend cleaning. I have houseguests coming on Tuesday from across the country.

Oh foo, I forgot PayPerPost's requirement for a post every three days for the last month. Good thing I'm posting more here again lately!

Well now that's interesting

It appears Project Wonderful only allows you to host a total of 5 ad boxes on each site - where "site" means ALL of blogspot. So 3 on Modern Science plus 2 on Zandperl's Fancies means none left for here. Huh.

Unsuspended

Well, whatever happened, Project Wonderful unsuspended my ads, I think it was w/in 24 hours. So all's good now, and expect to see them here in a bit.

Project Wonderful

I've been trying out Project Wonderful on two of my other sites lately (Modern Science, and Zandperl's Fancies). Unfortunately there appears to be a glitch where it currently thinks none of my ad boxes are working, but I plan to add them here after that's sorted out. The system is an interesting one, where people actually "bid" on your ad sites, and I've made around 30¢ so far from just a week or two of having the ads up. It pays out every $10, and puts the money into a PayPal account. Seems more honest and more likely to make me money than Google Adsense so far, but we'll see, it depends on whether this current glitch fixes itself or not.
